Terms of sale
Last updated 3 October 2026
Nightfall, KeyLens and All Access aren't on sale yet. This is how it will work when they are.
These terms apply when you buy a licence for a SoundFigure plugin (Nightfall or KeyLens) from soundfigure.com. Using the plugin is covered by our licence agreement. Please read both before you buy.
Who we are
SoundFigure. Email: [email protected].
What you're buying
A licence key for one plugin, for your personal use on one computer at a time, as set out in the licence agreement, or All Access, a subscription to every plugin on up to three computers at a time for each (below). The plugins are VST3 plugins for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). Each product page says what you need. Please use the free 7-day trial to check the plugin works on your computer before you buy.
Prices and paying
Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). A launch price is shown with the date it ends and the price after it. If VAT or a similar tax is due on digital purchases where you live, it's added at checkout and shown before you pay. Payment is taken by Stripe, which handles your card or wallet details; we never see them.
Your order
When your payment goes through, we accept your order: your key is shown on the page you're taken to and emailed to the address you gave. That's when the contract between us is made. If your key doesn't arrive, ask for it again on our support page or email us.
All Access (subscription)
All Access lets you use every SoundFigure plugin, including new ones from the day they come out, on up to three computers at a time for each, for as long as your subscription is paid. It renews automatically every month or every year, whichever you chose, at the price you agreed to, until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time on your account page (sign in with the email address you subscribed with; the link is on our support page). Cancelling stops the next renewal, and All Access keeps working until the end of the month or year you've already paid for. We'll remind you by email before a yearly renewal.
If a payment fails, we'll try again and email you. The plugins keep working for 7 days after the end of the paid period; after that they stop until the payment goes through. When All Access ends, the plugins stop working as they do after a trial, but your projects keep their settings, and subscribing again brings everything back. A plugin you also bought outright keeps working.
If we change the price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you, so you can cancel first if you'd rather.
Your right to cancel
Normally you have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For digital content you receive straight away, that right ends once you have your key, as long as you asked for it to be supplied immediately and agreed that you'd lose the right to cancel. You do both by ticking the box at checkout. This doesn't affect your rights if the plugin is faulty (below), and our refund policy also covers a plugin that doesn't work on your computer.
If something's wrong
The law says digital content must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If a plugin isn't, tell us and we'll fix it, or replace it; if we can't do that within a reasonable time, you're entitled to some or all of your money back. If faulty digital content we supply damages your device or other digital content, and that's because we didn't use reasonable care and skill, we'll repair the damage or pay you compensation. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.
Updates
Updates to the plugin you bought are free for as long as we make them. They may add, change or improve features; they won't take away what you paid for. The plugin can download and install them for you when you agree.
Refunds, chargebacks and your key
If you're refunded, or a payment is reversed or disputed, the key is turned off, and copies using it stop working at their next update check. If a dispute closes with the payment staying with us, the key is turned back on.
Our responsibility to you
We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that's a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We aren't responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable, or for business losses (the plugins are sold for personal use; anything you make with them is yours to use commercially). Nothing here limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't let us limit.
Your information
Our privacy notice explains what we keep about you and why.
The law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in your local courts. If you live elsewhere, you also keep the protections your own country's consumer law gives you. If you're unhappy with anything, please email us first: most problems are quickest to fix that way.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you buy is the one that applies to your purchase.
